We have wonderful slimming treatments for women and men who wish to remove excess fat cells. We use state of the art treatment ultrasound cavitation, which harnesses the precision of ultrasound waves to selectively break down fat cells in a particular area, whilst at the same time protecting the outer layers of skin, nerves and blood vessels. And to make sure you get optimum results, we combine ultrasound cavitation with radio frequency waves to enhance the treatment.
What is an ultrasound fat cavitation treatment? The principle behind ultrasound fat cavitation treatment is the emission of high frequency ultrasonic waves, which increase blood flow through the selected treatment area. The ultrasound device targets the fat layer of the skin, creating a resonance (vibrational) effect causing mechanical disruption of fat cell membranes, which triggers the cells’ triglycerides to convert into free fatty acids and glycerol. These waste products are then released into the fluid between the cells, where they are transported to the liver and reused as building blocks for energy. The synergistic action formed by the four treatment heads is able to reactivate all those zones where the fatty materials are stored and revitalises cellulite-damaged zones where there is poor blood circulation. The electric field created between the two electrodes increases cellular metabolism.
Non-surgical liposuction techniques use laser energy to reduce fat. The device is applied directly to the skin of the treatment area and does not employ injections (as in injection lipolysis) or incisions (as in laser assisted liposuction).
Although fat loss is more subtle with non-surgical lipolysis techniques compared to surgical liposuction, non-surgical lipolysis techniques have several advantages including reduced risk, reduced cost, and reduced healing time. This technique also provides the additional advantage of tissue tightening.
How does Lipo-laser work? Low level laser light reduces the stability of adipocyte cell membranes, allowing cells to release their stores of fat without damaging the cell. The Lipo laser emits low levels of laser energy, which creates a chemical signal in the fat cells, breaking down the stored triglycerides into free fatty acids and glycerol and releasing them though channels in the cell membranes. The fatty acids and glycerol are then transported around the body to the tissues that will use them during metabolism to create energy. This process of fatty acid release is a natural response of the body when the body needs to used stored energy reserves, thus lipo laser is not creating any unnatural reaction in the body nor does it affect or damage any surrounding structures such as skin, blood vessels and peripheral nerves.
Because the fat is released into the extracellular space, cardio based exercise is usually promoted after the procedure. This is also why adequate hydration is encouraged.
How soon will I see results? Because of the slow resolution of swelling, the ultimate results following the lipo laser usually require 8 to 12weeks to become fully apparent. Clients can usually see dramatic improvements within just 1 to 2 weeks after the treatment. Some areas like the neck and jaw show results quicker
Which areas of the body can be treated? The lipo laser can be performed on calves, knees, thigh, buttocks, stomach, arms and chin. We have more pads for you, so every time you can treat two larger body sections and save on the treatment time.
Does it hurt? The Lipo laser treatment is an extremely comfortable treatment the only sensation felt from the treatment pads is a slight warmth.
Cavitation & Radio Frequency Technology Demonstration
This is an excellent UK spa example of a safe and stress free cavitation and radio frequency machine demonstration. * Please note that this is an unaffiliated UK based spa demonstrating a technology that we use here at our clinic in Sydney - this video was not made at our clinic and the brand of their cavitation machine is different to ours.
